These are the breeds of rabbits that we currently have in production at the Hobbit Hole.
 New ZealandWe currently breed New Zealands. These are a great rabbit for family meat purposes. They get to be about 10 pounds when full grown. They are usually butcher size (about 5 pounds live weight) by 12 weeks. We raise New Zealands (NZ) in white, red, black, and blue both solid and broken. Our stock IS NOT show stock but commercial stock and do not come with pedigrees. We have many of these rabbits for sale |  Mini RexMini rex have the softest fur of any breed of rabbit except for the standard rex from which this breed was derived. We breed many mini rex in many colors. All of our mini rex stock come fully pedigreed and many are suitable for showing both in 4-H and ARBA. Mini rex get to be about 5 pounds when full grown and make great pets also These rabbits will make great pet rabbits also |  RexRex rabbits have beautiful, soft fur and are good for meat, pets and show. They get to be about 10 pounds when full grown. Our Rex stock will come fully pedigreed and many will be showable. We have several colors available in the fall. |

 Holland LopThese adorable small rabbits make wonderful show and pet rabbits. They get to be about 4 pounds when full grown. We will be having litters available in the fall. All of our Hollands will be pedigree and many will be suitable for showing. |  American ChinchillaThese rabbits are our pride and joy. American Chinchillas have a beautiful salt and pepper coat that rivals the color of the chinchilla rodent. We currently have a trio that will go into production in the fall. All of our Chins will be pedigree and may be suitable for showing. American Chinchillas are a old american breed that is rare now a days. |
